Our team comprises energy industry professionals with more than 150 years' of collective experience, each with decades of experience in the development, investment, financing, construction and operation of energy projects. They offer deep and broad expertise and experience in the development, engineering, financial, commercial and legal aspects of project development and operation of energy projects.

Individual profiles of our team members are set out below.

Ho Wai Ling (Advisor -Financing)

Mr. Hwang has more than 30 years' international experience as an energy, infrastructure and resources lawyer. He has significant involvement in major energy and infrastructure transactions and projects in Asia-Pacific, the Middle-East, Europe, Africa and the United States. He advises governments, sponsors, contractors, operators, funders and lenders on all aspects of the development and acquisition of energy, infrastructure and resources projects. He is highly skilled and experienced in originating, structuring, negotiating and closing deals. In Singapore, he is particularly known for his market-leading work in public-private partnership projects. He is consistently ranked in legal publications. Mr. Hwang started-up offices in Singapore for three "big law" US law firms - Bryan Cave LLP, Squire Patton Boggs LLP and McDermott Will & Emery LLP. He sits on the boards of several public and private companies, charities and animal welfare groups. Mr. Hwang has a LLB (Hons) degree and is a Singapore and UK qualified lawyer.

Mr. Liew has over 20 years of financial management experience, and has worked in Singapore, London and China/Hong Kong. He started his audit career with KPMG Singapore, where he was involved in auditing financial institutions, manufacturing, publishing and trading companies. He was also involved in IPOs and due diligence. He subsequently moved to the corporate sector where he was involved in asset management, private equity, commodities trading, and various start-ups. In 2014 -2018, he was the Operations Director/Investments Director of a Hong Kong private equity fund where he was mainly responsible for fund set up, operations and compliance, management, fund-raising, as well as deal sourcing, structuring, investment analysis, due diligence, investment execution and tax matters. He also successfully assisted the GP to set up and launch Fund 2 (pre-IPO fund) and Fund 4 (VC fund). In 2018, he helped set up and was the Executive Director/COO of Galilee Investment Management, a registered fund management company in Singapore. Mr. Liew is a certified FCCA.

Mr. Ghosh is an investment and strategy professional with more than 25 years' experience in all aspects of investments, risk control, strategy and corporate development. He is currently the Head of Development, Transactions and Capital Formation for Jinko Power International Business. Before joining Jinko, he was Vice-President of CDH Investments, one of China's oldest and largest PE/VC fund. There he focused on investments in new brands, e-commerce, internet and fin-tech sectors. Prior to CDH, he was Vice-President of Investments for SunEdison, at that time he word's largest renewable energy developer. He was part of the SunEdison core team that listed its subsidiary Terraform on NASDAQ. He was subsequently involved in the $20 billion insolvency restructuring of SunEdison. He also previously worked on Dalian Wanda corporate M&A team, where he was involved in several acquisitions in the entertainment, media, real estate, sports and hospitality sectors totaling more than $10 billion. He has an MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Finance. He is also a certified CPA, CFA and FRM.

Ritwik Ghosh (Advisor - Project Development)

Ms. Ho has been in the project finance industry for over 30 years in roles ranging from advisor, lender and sponsor - structuring and financing projects in the infrastructure, energy and utilities sectors in Asia-Pacific and beyond including Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Peru, Bahrain. In her role as an adviser and lender with HSBC’s project finance team in Singapore, her last position being Managing Director, she advised and structured limited recourse financing for projects within a PPP framework in the power, transport and water sectors. She also advised a Singapore government agency on a waste treatment project as an independent consultant. While at HSBC, she led teams in lead arranger roles. She also led the financing teams of sponsors such as JERA Asia, Adaro, Lanco, Keppel Integrated Engineering and CMS Energy in structuring projects and financing in the power, water and waste sectors in connection with bids, acquisitions and divestments. Ms Ho currently runs her own projects advisory firm. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (University of Washington, Seattle), Bachelor of Commerce (University of Western Australia).

Ho Wai Ling (Advisor - Financing)

Mr. Chan has 30 plus years' experience as an investment banker in Asia-Pacific including stints with Credit Suisse and ABN AMRO. He previously founded and managed a renewables and cleantech fund in China, and is currently managing a private equity and project development advisory firm focusing on clean energy and sustainable infrastructure in Asia-Pacific. He has developed a broad range of infrastructure projects in Myanmar on behalf of an early-stage infrastructure development programme funded by UKAid. He recently co-founded a microbial agri-biotech start-up. Mr. Chan has a Bachelor of Economics (First Class) and a LLB (University of Sydney).
